The Madeira Casino is one of the most prominent and famous tourist attractions in this Portuguese city.

The modern building is located on the coast of Madeira, very close to its beaches and the port area. In addition to the casino pit, the Madeira Casino offers a wide range of bars and restaurants, a nightclub and a conference centre. The Madeira Casino, open from Sunday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 3:00 am, and Saturdays from 4:00 pm to 4:00 am, is located five minutes from the centre of Funchal and 25 minutes by car from the city’s airpot. Near the Casino, you can find several green spaces that are perfect if you want to escape from the cosmopolitan life. If you are passionate about football, and especially Cristiano Ronaldo, in front of the Casino you will find a museum dedicated to the football star, who is originally from Madeira. Funchal’s port area is preferred by tourists as it offers a significant part of the city’s cultural and tourist activities. Near the Ferry Terminal, there is a small mountain, Principauté Ilot Pontinha, from which you can enjoy the best views of Funchal. Finding parking in this area is not an easy task. However, near the Casino on Luís de Camōes Avenue, there is a Saba car park where you can easily park your car. This public parking lot is open 24 hours a day.
